In current time i am a Candidate Bachelor of Applied Business Hospitality Operations Management Degree Program. My big desire is to work in the hospitality industry, that is why i have decided to take this program to expand my knowledge about the industry. I think Hospitality is more than a profession, it is a lifestyle. It is challenging and exciting career that involves not only skills, but also your personality.
My experience in the hospitality industry began about three years ago. I started to work as a server at the hotel. Most of my knowledge about hotel industry has come from my work experience. After that i applied for yaht club to get knew experience and learn the differences between hotel industry and yaht club.
Working in the hospitality industry, it showed me how to maintain and communicate an image of excellence. Also i have learned that to achieve excellence, you are expected to connect emotionally with the customers and co-workers.
My goal is to continue learning and experiencing more about different sectors of the hospitality industry. On complition of this program, i plan to work in the travel industry.
In addition to pursue a career in hospitality industry, it is important to understand this business and to have a broad range of skills.
My expectations from HOST 4103:
-to learn as much as possible about Integrated E-Marketing course
-advantages and disadvantages of it in the hospitality industry
-to learn about e-marketing in other industries, than hospitality
-how to become successfull in e-marketing
